The variety is selection from the progeny of Kufri Chipsona-1 × MP/92-35. It produces attractive white long oblong tubers with shallow eyes and white flesh. The variety produces nearly 30-35 t/ha tuber yield in plains of the country. Tubers do not show deformities like cracking or hollow heart. It has field resistance against late blight disease. It is a good keeper under country store conditions and possess longer tuber dormancy period of more than 10 weeks. It possesses 20% tuber dry matter, low reducing sugars (50-90 mg/100 g fresh weight) and very good quality French fries can be prepared.

The variety is a selection from the progeny of the cross MP/92-35 × Kufri Chipsona-2. The female parent MP/92-35 is a selection from processing breeding programme. The variety produces white-cream ovoid tuber with shallow eyes and white flesh. The variety produces nearly 15-20 t/ha yield under hilly regions of the country. The tubers have dry matter content of 21-24% and reducing sugars 10-80 mg/ 100 g fresh weight. The variety has a high degree of resistance to late blight. The variety is suitable for chips and flakes making.

The variety is selection from the progeny of MP/90- 30 × MP/90-94. It produces attractive white-cream long oblong tubers with shallow eyes and white flesh. The variety produces nearly 30-35 t/ha tuber yield in rabi crop in plains of the country. It possesses very good field resistance against late blight disease and has reasonably good frost tolerance. It is a good keeper under country store conditions and possess longer tuber dormancy period of more than 8 weeks. It possesses high tuber dry matter (22%), low reducing sugars (30-80 mg/100 g fresh weight) and very good quality French fries can be prepared. The industrial testing has shown the superiority of this hybrid for French fry making in terms of taste, texture and colour.

Satluj Purple is the cultivar of plum. It is a self-unfruitful cultivar and requires Kala Amritsari as pollinizer. Kala Amritsari plum should be planted as alternate plant in alternate rows for achieving good fruit set. Tree is medium in vigour with upright habit of growth. The fruit is of medium in size weighing 25-30 g. The epicarp develop crimson colour on ripening.

The epicarp is thick and mesocarp yellow coloured firm flesh. The TSS of Juice ranges between 12-14 percent and acidity 0.5 to 0.7 percent. The fruits are usually eaten fresh. It is an early ripening low yielding cultivar. It ripens in early May and yield 35-40 Kg of fruit per tree.

Kala Amritsari is the cultivar of plum. It is self-fruitful high yielding local cultivar. The trees are vigorous with profuse branching. This is most preferred cultivar of plains. Fruits are of medium size, round oblate depressed at both ends. The epicarp (skin) on ripening turn dark purple. The mesocarp (flesh) is yellow in colour with juicy pulp. Fruits are little acidic in taste. The TSS of juice ranges between 13 to 15 percent and acidity l. D-1.3. percent. Fruit ripens in second half of May. Average yield about 55 kg per trees. Its fruits are preferred for making Jam and squash.

This is a variety of muskmelon which maturesearly and this variety is resistant to powdery mildew developed at Indian Institute of Horticultural Research, Bangalore through pure line selection from a local collection (IIHR-107) from Rajasthan bears round to slightly oval fruits with netted creamy white skin, white flesh and 11-14% TSS. It is good in keeping and transport qualities. Its average yield is 200-250 q/ha in crop duration of 85-90 days.

This is a variety of muskmelon tolerant to powdery and downy mildew developed at Indian Institute of Vegetable Research, Varanasi through a selection from local collection is medium in maturity. Plants have medium vine and sparsely lobed and dark green leaves. Fruits with average weight 700-750 g are round with open prominent green sutures, half-slip in nature, rind thin, smooth and pale yellow at maturity, flesh salmon orange (mango colour), thick, very juicy with 13-14% total soluble solids and seeds are loosely packed in the seed cavity. Post-harvest life is long with good transportability, and fruit yield is 200-270 q/ha.
